Bridgeport continues to have a tough 2011 in single family sales. Unit volume is good but prices dropped versus last year. February had a 16% decrease in both average list and sold prices over February 2010. Year-to-date shows similar drops over last year. The only bright spot is market time has decreased from last year due to deals in the Park City. It is a buyers market and now is the time to call the Bridgeport office of The Higgins Group to look at real estate for investment or first time home purchase.
