Doug was a former Business Development officer for a large bank in Manhattan.  He left that hectic life behind and followed his true passion, helping people.  After earning his BS from The University of Connecticut and MS from Western Connecticut State University, Doug has been working in the Connecticut school systems as a licensed school counselor. Now as a new father, Doug is looking for a career in which he can still help people attain life goals but in a more flexible setting which has brought him to The Higgins Group.  His background and training in counseling, and sales makes him a great listener who will understand your unique needs.  His ability to connect with students and parents alike from all backgrounds, helping them navigate sensitive and stressful situations makes him the ideal realty advisor.  

Doug works with both buyers and sellers, and caters to those relocating to the area.
