1. The Bruce Museum

If you’re a fan of art, anthropology, and natural history, The Bruce Museum is one place you shouldn’t miss. A Natural History and Science Museum that has garnered universal acclaim, The Bruce Museum is home to around 15,000 objects that cover various subjects. Visitors are highly encouraged to visit from time to time to check out the museum’s short-term exhibits.

2. The Capitol Theatre

For the theatre and performance art lover, The Capitol Theatre (affectionately called The Cap) will surely entice. Just a short drive to neighboring Port Chester, NY, the theatre regularly hosts shows featuring well-known musicians and comedians. Be sure to check out Garcias, the Cap’s in-house bar, which regularly features local talent every night.

3. Bush-Holley House Museum

Standing on the Cos Cob Harbor, the Bush-Holley House Museum is an important part of the Bush-Holley Historic Site. Visitors are treated to two exhibitions – one focuses on the New Nation (1790-1825), and the other on the Cos Cob Art Colony (1890-1920).

4. Greenwich Avenue

No outing around town is complete without a shopping excursion. Drive to Greenwich Avenue, which is rapidly earning a reputation as one of the best shopping destinations in Greenwich. Dubbed as the “East Coast’s Rode Drive,” Greenwich Avenue has both great dining establishments and high-end retail stores.

5. Beach hopping

For the sun worshippers and the beach lovers, Greenwich has plenty to offer. All year round, several beaches–where you can go boating, fishing, sunbathing, sail boarding, and more—are open to the public. We highly recommend Byram Beach and Pool, Greenwich Point, Island Beach, and Great Captain Island.
